I have had my fair share of colour done to my curls (to the point I went full blonde) and no matter how strong/thick you think your hair is, the bleach will ALWAYS win. A few highlights (especially if you ask for no bleach and just a lightener) should be okay, however if you have any damaged/coloured hair than think of adding a hair masque to your weekly deep conditioning treatment routine.

As we gear into winter we need to add more nourishment. A body oil (or even a face oil) preferably fragrance-free to reduce irritation is great post shave, and you’ll always get the closest shave by exfoliating first (like with an African Net Sponge). As a general haircare rule, it’s good to add a Deep conditioner into your rotation (every 1-2 weeks).

I have sensitive combination skin so all these would apply to me really lol. This is why I’ve made a line of skincare gentle for sensitive skin but also very moisturizing. Lotion is great all year round but when it gets colder, you want to look for a thicker moisturizing product like a cream, oil and/or butter.
